I will wait like the rest of the world to see who is going to emerge as the new president of the united states. Frankly, who ever wins has a lot cut out to do. There will be rigging of elections you bet. But one thing is for sure only one winner will emerge. Read the following articles below:
By John Whitesides, Political Correspondent writes:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama has a steady 5-point national lead over Republican John McCain with six days left in the grueling race for the White House, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.Obama leads McCain by 49 percent to 44 percent among likely voters in the three-day national tracking poll, inching up from his 4-point advantage on Tuesday. The telephone poll has a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points.
BARACK Obama might be the Messiah, but John MCain is approaching holiness.
In “Clean Hands and a Pure Heart” David Gelernter writes in the Weekly Standard:
Granting the importance of the topic, the difference in moral stature between presidential candidates has rarely been as enormous as it is today–not (or not only) because Obama’s is so small but because McCain’s is so large.
There is no single English word for McCain the hero, the moral entity. But in Hebrew he would be called a tsaddik–a man of such nobility and moral substance that he approaches holiness.
If this assertion sounds crazy, that only shows how little we have thought about the issue.
Thinking now…
“Who shall ascend the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart” (Psalm 24:3-4).
You can always trust a man with clean hands…
Whether you like or dislike his politics, that is John McCain all over. If he wins this election, it will be a come-from-behind surprise. But in larger American terms, it will be no surprise at all.
John McCain is 4ft 9in, but if he stands on his clean hands he is much, much taller…
Well it is between David and Goligath once more to save the world.
